In an update, Epic said that 2023 saw a heavy focus on back-end developments for the Epic Games Store so that new features could be implemented, and this year, the plan is to further improve the user experience.
Epic says a new download manager is planned for early 2024, giving users more control over updates, scheduled downloads, and the option to reorder games in their download queue. Offline Mode is also being looked at, and Epic says the ability to deliberately switch to an offline state will be added alongside clearer information on errors.
